Talk about your oxymoron's. In light of the recent shooting of "Dr." George Tiller while at church http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090531/ap_on_re_us/us_tiller_shooting, who was one of only 3 clinics in the US performing late term abortions has made me think about how disconnected many of today's church's and denominations have become from God. How could this church in good faith even let this man serve in any capacity at their place of worship? I don't think they could have locked the doors to keep him out but the should have never let him serve in anyway. How can anyone claim to be a Christian and vote democrat? The bible is clear on two big conservative/liberal issues, abortion & homosexuality. So how can you claim to follow Christ and vote for someone like Obama, the most liberal President in the history of the United States. He is one of 3 people to vote for the termination of babies who actually survive an abortion. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/63250.php They actually let a baby that survives the abortion to be set in a steel tub in a dark room to die. There will be a special place in hell for "Dr. George Tiller.
As a side note, I do not support the killing of the man but the shooter, Scott Roeder should use the defense that he too was only performing "late term abortion"
