Does it even matter anymore?

Obama and other socialist have said that Sotomayor simple misspoke in her 2001 speech about wise Latina women being better suited to judge than a white male. But now we see that it is more of a pattern when we look at a 1994 speech http://www.slate.com/id/2219699/ a 1999 speech http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/04/AR2009060403265_pf.html and 2002 & 2003 speech's http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/04/AR2009060400876.html . It seems more like her calling card then a momentary lapse in judgement. She is not going to rule on law but on what color and gender the ruling is dealing with. Case in point his her ruling on the New Haven firemen who claimed reverse discrimination. In summary, no blacks passed the promotion test and so the city did not promote anyone. Now Judge Sotomayor has upheld that ruling but it is about to be overturned by the Supreme Court. This is a prime example of not being colorblind as justice should be but showing empathy for the black people who were not able to pass. The NBA finals started last night. If Sotomayor was the referee (which is what a judge is, they are only there to enforce rules, not make them) the Orlando Magic would win the championship. Why? Because they have never won a title and the greedy Lakers have 14 NBA titles and 30 conference titles. Most if not all of the population would be in an uproar if an official did this but they would be okay with a judge doing exactly this. So, does it even matter anymore? We can show 5 instances were Sotomayor is making racist comments in public but still the left and the media will claim she misspoke.
